Add a Splash of Color With Sofa Bean Bags

Does your living space feel a little boring? Maybe you have always been content with a neutral color palette or perhaps black has typically been your color of choice, but now you are looking for a change. Well, if you are like most others today, you probably live on a pretty tight budget. Therefore, an entire room makeover is out of the question. You need one element that will completely change the dynamics of the space without investing a ton of money on new décor pieces. You need to shop for sofa bean bags

Color Selection

You really can't appreciate how many fantastic colors sofa bean bags come in until you start shopping for them. Now, if you aren't comfortable with an extra bold color, you don't have to feel obligated to go crazy. For example, a room filled with shades of beige would really be transformed with a microsuede orange sofa, but even olive would bring warmth to the space. Alternately, a room made up of black shelving and tables could easily welcome red, but a deep purple shade would give the space a makeover as well.

Most traditional furniture comes in basic colors, but sofa bean bags are available in a multitude of colors and materials, so there is something to complement any space.

Paint a Wall

Want to make your new sofa really stand out? Why not paint the wall a contrasting color that it is placed up against? Of course, if you just are not comfortable buying a bean bag in a bold color, you could always stick with a neutral shade and let the paint add the color splash. A wheat sofa in front of a blue, red or rust wall suddenly won't look so safe and a black one nestled against a purple or lime green wall sure would add a "wow" factor.

Add Décor Pieces

Now, you don't necessarily need to spend money on new décor pieces. The greatest benefit you get with sofa bean bags is that they become such focal points that many people may not even notice anything else in the room. They may even think that your old décor pieces are new because suddenly everything looks fresh and modern.

However, if you get a good deal on your sofa and you have a little extra money to play with, consider a patterned area rug or a few decorative pillows. If you did choose a neutral color for your sofa, these décor pieces could also be used to bring color into your space as well.
